Jae’Sean Tate sank a layup with three seconds left to lift Ohio State. Tate finished with 12 points and nine rebounds, Marc Loving added 14 and Trevor Thompson chipped in 11 for the Buckeyes (17-13, 7-10 Big Ten) who won on the road for just the fourth time this season. Penn State took the lead on a Tony Carr 3-pointer with nine seconds to play but Tate ran the court and found room underneath to hit the winning basket. Carr finished with 21, Shep Garner notched 20 points and Lamar Stevens added 16 for Penn State (14-16, 6-11), which lost its fourth straight.
Kent State 74, Bowling Green 67
BOWLING GREEN
Jaylin Walker scored 18 points, Jimmy Hall had a double-double and Kent State closed on a 6-0 run to beat Bowling Green. Walker was 7 of 17 from the field and made four 3-pointers. Hall finished with 17 points, 15 rebounds and four assists. Deon Edwin added 15 points for Kent State (18-12, 10-7 Mid-American Conference).
Miami (Ohio) 79, Akron 75
AKRON
Michael Weathers scored 22 points and hit three crucial free throws in the final 20 seconds to help lead Miami (Ohio) to an upset win over Akron. The RedHawks (11-19, 4-13) entered at the game at the bottom of the Mid-American Conference East Division while the Zips had already clinched the outright conference title and the No.1 seed in next week’s tournament.
No. 9 Kentucky 73, Vanderbilt 63
LEXINGTON, KY.
Malik Monk scored 20 points in the second half, including 10 in the final 3:40, as No. 9 Kentucky rallied from a 13-point deficit to clinch a share of the Southeastern Conference regular season title. After trailing by as many as 19 points in the first half, the Wildcats, who overcame the largest deficit under John Calipari, were still down 47-34 with 13:51 remaining.

WEST LAFAYETTE, IND.
Dakota Mathias scored 17 of his 19 points in the first half and Caleb Swanigan added 17 of his 21 in the second to lead No. 16 Purdue past Indiana for a share of the Big Ten title.
No. 17 Duke 75, No. 15 Florida State 70

Freshman Frank Jackson scored a season-best 22 points and No. 17 Duke beat No. 15 Florida State. Amile Jefferson, playing in his final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium, added 14 points and 11 rebounds while Luke Kennard finished with 17 points for the Blue Devils (23-7, 11-6 Atlantic Coast Conference).

Senior Matt Thomas scored 25 points close out Iowa State’s home schedule with its sixth straight win. Monte Morris added 12 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds for the Cyclones (20-9, 12-5 Big 12).
