The Trumbull County Historical Society will host a talk at 2 p.m. at the Edwards House on Sunday titled “The Past, Present, and Future of Community Gardening.” Led by Cassandra Clevenger, the GROW program manager at Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, and Nancy Kovach, a member of the Trumbull County Herb Society, the presentation will discuss the history of community gardening and how the gardens impact our community today.

A trolley tour showcasing the gardens in Warren will follow the talk. Clevenger will be joined by current gardeners to discuss the process of developing a community garden, how they assist their neighborhoods today, and the history of how those gardens grew to reality.

This is a free program, family friendly, and requires no reservations. Light refreshments will be served. Tours of the John Stark Edwards House and Trumbull County Museum will be available until 5 p.m. following the presentation.
