ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter of ABWA will meet at 6 p.m. July 11 at Georgeann Parker Center in Boardman Park. The meeting will be followed by dinner and will include chicken as the main dish. Each member is asked to bring a covered dish to complete the buffet. Cost is $10, and reservations are due today. Installation of new officers is on the agenda. CLASSES

Campbell Memorial January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are welcome.

Campbell Memorial January and June Classes of 1950 will meet for lunch at noon July 12 at Bedford Trails Golf Course, Coitsville. Date has been changed due to the holiday.

Struthers High School January and June Classes of 1949 will meet at 11 a.m. July 10 at the Landmark Restaurant in Boardman.

Struthers High School Class of 1956 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. July 8 at What’s Cookin’ Restaurant on South Avenue. All classmates are invited to attend.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. Classmates and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

Girard Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St.

The Hot Drops Club will meet at Belleria Pizza, 584 E. Main Street, Canfield, near state Route 11 and state Route 224, at 6 p.m. Thursday. The topic will be “Kick Out Toxic Chemicals.” This is an open club welcoming anyone interested in learning about essential oils and the correct ways of using them. Share your experiences and go home with some creative ideas.

Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following neighborhood group meetings: Niles Silver Thimbles will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at Shepherd of the Valley Assisted Living, 1500 McKinley Ave., Niles, for a picnic. SUPPORT GROUPS

Diabetes Partnership of the Mahoning Valley will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stonebridge Grille and Tavern, 1497 Boardman Canfield Road, Boardman. Friendship Train 12-Step Support Group is meeting from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave. People who are trying to overcome any addiction are welcome and encouraged to attend. Those attending should enter through the church’s lower parking lot off Wardle.

R-Weigh Weight Support Groups meet Mondays at First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave., Salem. Afternoon weigh-in is from 1 to 1:30 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 1:45. Evening weigh-ins are from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 6:15. The first meeting is free. Guests are welcome. The club is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group of women helping women to lose weight. All money paid returns to the members in incentives to lose weight.
