Death of man found in Berlin Lake ruled a homicide

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Coroners Office has ruled the death of a 60-year-old Akron man who was pulled out of Berlin Lake early Saturday morning a homicide.

Robert Lee Johnson was found about 6 a.m. in the lake near the causeway, said Maj. Jeff Allen of the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office.

Allen did not want to say how Johnson died.
