Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties will host its 12th annual auction at Margaritaville from 6 to 10 p.m. July 21 at St. Michael Life Center, 252 N. Broad St., Canfield. CRAFT SHOWS

Salem Kiwanis will sponsor its 53rd annual antique and craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15 at Centennial Park, East Pershing Street and Park Avenue, Salem. Admission is free, and this year’s show will feature food vendors and music as well as more than 70 auction items and baskets to be raffled. DANCES

Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., is offering dance classes that are open to the public. Lessons begin on July 5 and 26, Beginning in August, classes will be offered each Wednesday at 5 p.m. Group classes will be held in the fellowship hall with a professional teacher as the instructor. Poland Presbyterian Church Strawberry Festival will take place from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday on the church lawn, 2 Poland Manor. FUNDRAISERS

The Chocolate Chik and Expressions of You will host a golf outing at 10:30 a.m. July 23 at the Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St., Girard. Cost is $75 per person or $300 for a team of four, which includes green fees, cart, food, drink and 18 holes of golf. Skins are $5 each, and prizes for closest-to-the-hole will be given. St. Luke Holy Name Society is planning its ninth annual golf outing for 1 p.m. July 22 at Bedford Trails Golf Course. All proceeds will be used to replace or repair facility equipment. SPECIAL EVENTS

Niles Historical society will participate in Harry Steven’s Hot Dog day in downtown Niles on Sunday. There will be no tours of the Ward Thomas House Museum. The society will have a tent displaying information on Niles history and will be selling historical books and items. Heritage Day will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 5 at 503 Brown St. There will be artisans, crafters, vendors, children’s crafts, food and tours of the Ward Thomas House. There will be no entry fee.

The Poland Historical Society will be offering guided walking tours of historic sites in Poland during the week of Celebrate Poland. Tours of historic South Main Street will be offered Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. Meet at Poland Village Hall, 308 S. Main St. Tours of the Old Graveyard next to the Poland Presbyterian Church at 2 Poland Manor will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. and Friday at 6 p.m. The Graveyard Tour is a new tour this year with an emphasis on early residents who died of unnatural causes. A tour of the 1897 church will take place on Friday at 8 p.m.

Trumbull Art Gallery’s Summerfest’s art parade starts at 11:30 a.m. Friday. The parade will begin at the gallery and conclude at the gazebo on Warren’s Court House Lawn across the street. The public is invited to the parade and should plan to stay afterward for family-friendly activities. Children’s summer program groups are especially invited to march. The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County’s “Noon in the Park” music program and “Chalk on the Walk” will begin at noon. There will be a table of artwork on display by students of TAG’s Education Program. Other artists are invited to set up a table of their own work; there is no table fee. Sutliff Museum invites the public to a summer open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday to celebrate Independence Day. Lemonade and cookies will be served along with a visit to the museum and a craft for kids of all ages. Story time will be at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. The Sutliff Museum is decorated for the summer months with decorations enhancing the Sutliff family artifacts. This will be the final weekend for “It Takes the Cake: Vintage Wedding Cake Toppers” in the Museum’s community display case. The American Guild of Organists, Youngstown chapter, brings The Arsenal Duo & Todd Wilson, a silent film double feature, to Stambaugh Auditorium on July 3 during the AGO Regional Convention. Pittsburgh musicians, Nathan Carterette on piano and Edward Alan Moore on organ, have joined forces as The Arsenal Duo, presenting concerts that unite their respective instruments in a unique and spectacular fashion. Wilson is head of the Organ Department at the Cleveland Institute of Music and director of music and worship at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Cleveland. He is the curator of the E.M. Skinner pipe organ at Severence Hall and house organist for the Aeolian organ at the Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron. An active interest in improvisation has led to his popular improvised accompaniments to classic silent films.

Great Lakes Regional Convention of the AGO will present its grand finale concert at Stambaugh Auditorium at 8 p.m. July 5. It will feature James David Christie, world-renowned organist with the Boston Symphony, along with the Youngstown Scoring Stage Orchestra. This concert will feature Stambaugh Auditorium’s fully restored E.M. Skinner Pipe Organ with full orchestra.

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society is hosting two summer camps at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St. The first Summer Day Camp is July 10 to 14: My Town, Your Town for age 8 to 12. Participants will explore 10,000 years of history in five days with all new field trips, activities, and camper-driven projects. The second camp, July 24 to 28 is designed for Young Historians age 12 to 15. The campers will dive a bit deeper into local history as they learn what it’s like to be a real historian. They will complete a special project, a website, a video or an exhibit about a local history topic. Both camps run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
