Podiatrist Dr. James LaPolla Jr., owner of Northeast Ohio Foot, Ankle & Wound Center Inc. in Howland and Brookfield, is a member of The American College of Foot & Ankle Pediatrics.

The ACFAP recognizes the importance of treating foot ailments at the earliest ages to prevent adult problems. Its mission is to dispense information to the public at large on proper pediatric foot and ankle care. Members participate in seminars, lectures, publications and digital media on the latest information and most advanced techniques in pediatric foot and ankle care.

Auto-Owners Insurance announced the Griffith Agency Inc. of Girard, has been named one of the Top 10 growth agencies for the company in the state of Ohio for 2016. The Griffith Agency Inc. has represented Auto-Owners since 2013.

The parent company of Bloomberg Eyecare, DaVinci Equity Group, has been named among the Top 50 2017 U.S. Optical Retailers for the second-consecutive year, according to Vision Monday Magazine. The publication determines rankings based upon 2016 calendar year sales, moving DaVinci up four positions to No. 46 based on its $1.9 million revenue increase over the prior year.

First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corp., has been named a Top Workplace in Northeast Ohio for 2017 based on employee feedback compiled by an independent research firm. This is FNB’s third-consecutive year on the list.

CarGurus, a leading consumer automotive car-shopping website, recently named Apostolakis Honda of Cortland a “2017 CarGurus Top Rated Dealer.” The awards are presented to a select group of car dealerships that have received the highest average ratings from shoppers.

BANKING

Consumers National Bank of Minerva recently announced that Suzanne Mikes has been named vice president and chief credit officer. In this executive management position, Mikes will assume responsibility for the bank’s credit policy, underwriting and portfolio management as well as the collections function.

Home Savings has hired Stacy Moore as private banking and mortgage loan specialist serving the Ohio Valley. In her new role, Moore will be responsible for residential loan origination as well as providing exceptional customer service and consumer products to private banking clients.

REAL ESTATE

Volpini Realty Group has hired Vanessa Moyer.

Moyer earned her real-estate training at Youngstown State University and Hondros.

Moyer has more than 30 years of experience in hotel management and several years in property management.
