Marietta Gallo, Daniel Monroe are engaged

Marietta Gallo and Daniel Monroe, both of Youngstown, are announcing their engagement.

Parents of the bride-elect are Janet and Anthony Gallo Jr. of Youngstown. The future groom is the son of Antoinette Monroe and Daniel Monroe, both of Niles.

The couple’s wedding will take place at St. Columba Cathedral on Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Ciminero’s Banquet Center in Niles. Invitations will be extended for both the ceremony and reception.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Kent State University with an associate degree in radiologic technology. She is employed as a radiologic technologist at Northside Medical Center. Mr. Monroe graduated from Ohio Technical College with an associate degree in auto-diesel technology. He works at TSI Western Star, North Jackson, as a diesel technician.
