The Lowellville Rod & Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, will have a BBQ, Bullets and Beer dinner next Saturday. Doors open at 4 p.m., and dinner is at 5:30.

Cost is $50, and attendees must be 21 or older and pass a background check to receive a firearm from one of the raffles.

Ox roast set for July 8

New Middletown

The New Middletown Farmers’ and Sportsmen’s Club, 3341 E. Calla Road, is having an ox roast from 3 to 10 p.m. July 8.

Barbecued chicken and beef, draft beer, soda and water will be offered. There also will be raffles and games. Cost is $22.

Women’s firearms class

Vienna

The Fish & Game Club of Vienna, 1508 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will have a women’s firearms class each Tuesday for eight weeks beginning July 11.

The instruction is good for a concealed-carry permit. Those attending the classes will shoot 50 rounds of various calibers during each session.
