Homestand

The Scrappers’ first homestand of the season continues tonight against the Doubledays. The 7:05 p.m. game is a Buck Night (general admission tickets, hot dogs and drinks). The Doubledays also are the opponent of Friday for Francisco Lindor Bobblehead Night. Fireworks will follow the game. The State College Spikes will be the opponent on Saturday (7:05 p.m.), Sunday (4:05 p.m.) and Monday (7:05 p.m.)

All-time

The Scrappers are in their 19th season as a Cleveland Indians Single A short-season affiliate. Their overall record is 661-689. The Scrappers have won four division titles (1999, 2000, 2004 and 2009). They won the New York-Penn League championship in 2004.

Doubledays

Auburn has had a team since 1958. They began as the Auburn Yankees and have been an affiliate of eight MLB teams. They’ve been an affiliate with the Washington Nationals for seven seasons.

Top prospects

Three of the Scrappers are ranked by mlb.com and Baseball America as top 30 prospects for the Indians — outfielder Will Benson, infielder Nolan Jones and outfielder Oscar Gonzalez. Benson went 0 for 4 and Gonzalez was 2 for 5 with a RBI in Wednesday’s opener.
