Allegiant adds new flights, routes - but nothing new for Youngstown


VIENNA — Allegiant, the only commercial airliner in operation at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, today announced its largest-ever new service announcement, but none of the new service is coming here.

Las Vegas-based Allegiant will soon begin 28 new routes and service from three new U.S. cities: Gulfport, Miss.; Norfolk, Va.; and Milwaukee, Wis.

New routes announced are: year-round nonstop service to Orlando Sanford International Airport from: Gulfport, Miss., Milwaukee, Newburgh, N.Y. and Norfolk, Va.; year-round nonstop service to Phoenix from Louisville, Ky., Kansas City, Mo., Boise, Idaho, Milwaukee and St. Louis; seasonal nonstop service to Phoenix from Omaha, Neb., Tampa, Fla. and Indianapolis, Ind.; year-round nonstop service to St. Pete, Fla. from Norfolk, Milwaukee, and Ogdensburg, N.Y.; seasonal nonstop service to St. Pete from Phoenix; year-round nonstop service to Los Angeles, Calif. from Ogden, Utah and Cincinnati, Ohio; year-round nonstop service to Punta Gorda, Fla. from Flint, Mich., Milwaukee, Rochester, N.Y. and Newburgh, N.Y.; seasonal nonstop service to Punta Gorda from St. Cloud, Minn.; year-round nonstop service to Cincinnati from Raleigh, N.C. and Los Angeles, Calif.; year-round nonstop service to Las Vegas, Nev. from Ogden, Utah and Omaha; year-round nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from Milwaukee and Norfolk; and seasonal nonstop service to San Juan, Puerto Rico from Raleigh.
