v Thunder Over the Valley air show, 9 a.m.: The world famous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will give a demonstration in the afternoon at this annual event at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna; youngstownairshow.com for parking and other info. “American Gods” (9 p.m., Starz): The bizarre first season of “American Gods” calls it a wrap. On the eve of war, Mr. Wednesday needs to recruit one more Old God: Ostara, aka Easter, Goddess of the Dawn. Our advice? Just go with it and act like it makes sense.

Parish festival begins Thursday

St. Jude and Our Lady of Lourdes will have its second annual parish festival Thursday through June 25 from 5 to 10 p.m. each day.

The festival will include homemade food, beer, Bingo, raffles, rides, games, petting zoo, pony rides, a $5,000 raffle drawing Sunday night, as well as nightly live entertainment from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Here is the music schedule: Thursday will feature Jill West & Blues Attack; Friday, Dom Tocco & Brotherhood; Saturday, Touche; Sunday, The John Reese Project. No pets will be permitted to enter unless they are service animals.

Screening of film on unsung rock heroes

“Hired Gun: Out of the Shadows, Into the Spotlight,” a documentary fil about the world’s unsung music heroes, will be screened at hundreds of theaters nationwide, including Tinseltown, at 7:30 p.m. June 29.

Presented by Fathom Events and Vision Films, the full-length feature details the stories of unknown musicians who are responsible for some of the most famous instrumentation and have regularly toured and recorded with musical legends such as Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Katy Perry, KISS, P!NK, Steely Dan and many more.
