v Thunder Over the Valley air show, 9 a.m.: The world-famous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will give a demonstration in the afternoon at this annual event at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna; go to youngstownairshow.com for parking and other info. Admission is free, but VIP tickets are available.

v Simply Slavic, noon to midnight: Celebrate the culture of Youngstown’s Slavic community at this festival ($4, free for children 12 and under) on East Federal Street, downtown, that ends with a traditional bonfire.

Miller (aka Erlich Bachman) is leaving “Silicon Valley,” but at least we can enjoy his outrageous brand of humor in the new stand-up comedy special “T.J. Miller: Meticulously Ridiculous.” Taped at the Paramount Theater in his hometown of Denver, it has him riffing on “life, death and everything in-between.”

“Community Connection” (Sunday at 6:30 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV and 11 a.m. on WBCB-TV): Paul Hagman and Ellen Tressel of the Friends of Fellows Riverside Garden will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the launch of the Volney Rogers Conservancy with Mill Creek MetroParks. They also will discuss the annual Friends of Fellows Garden Party.

Next, Markus Douglas and Lois Thornton formerly of P.R.A.Y. Productions will discuss the upcoming stage play “The Gift Of Song,” featuring local talent, to benefit the Tabernacle Baptist Church Freedom School.

“Senior Focus” (Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on Armstrong Cable channels 20 and 100): Ohio State Rep. John Boccieri will join host Bill Adams to discuss the state budget and programs for older adults.

CANFIELD

The 13th annual Father’s Day car show will take place Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at South Range High School, 11300 Columbiana Canfield Road (state Route 46). Registration is from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Entry fee is $5. The event will include a raffle, food, basket auction and DJ. For information, call Gary Kapper at 330-482-9048.
