Chrystin Ritter, Jonathan Rickert are engaged

Chrys and Bill Ritter of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Chrystin, to Jonathan Rickert, also of Boardman. The parents of the prospective groom are Pam and David Rickert, also of Boardman.

The ceremony will take place in July at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica with a reception following at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center. Invitations will be issued for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree. She also graduated from the University of Akron with a master’s degree in speech pathology. She is employed by Boardman Local Schools as a speech and language pathologist.

The prospective groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in human-resource management. He is working for V&V Appliance Parts as a human- resource manager.
