State Rep. Glenn Holmes, D-63rd, was recently tapped to serve as the ranking Democrat on the Ohio House’s State and Local Government Committee.

“Having served for well over a decade as a chair of various regional planning organizations, city councilperson, and then as the mayor of McDonald, I feel well-prepared to take on this leadership role on the State and Local Government Committee,” Holmes said. “I look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with my fellow committee members in my new capacity as ranking member.”

Holmes is a member of the House Insurance Committee and the House Federalism and Interstate Relations Committee.
