Early College National Honor Society raises funds for YSU center

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Early College National Honor Society, under the advisement of Counselor Lori Sakacs, raised $1,000 to donate to Youngstown State University’s Student Veterans Resource Center. Half of the donation was raised previously, and $500 was raised this school year.

The donation, raised by the efforts of NHS president Victoria Graham, vice president Jasmine Pierce, Treasurer Dionne Trammell and secretary Quiara Carter, NHS members and the student body of Youngstown Early College, will benefit veteran students and will earn the NHS a commemorative plaque to be displayed at The YSU Student Veterans Resource Center.
