YOUNGSTOWN

A local Realtor, considered to be one of the best in the business, has died.

Bonita “Bonnie” Beam died June 6.

She was a lifelong Mahoning Valley resident and a Realtor for 37 years.

“She was one of Youngstown’s best,” said Jack Pearce, broker at RE/MAX Valley Real Estate. “[She was] very professional, very honest and very trustworthy.”

Beam, 63, founded RE/MAX Valley Real Estate in 2000 with Pearce and four others.

“She was beloved by clients and the people she worked with,” Pearce said.

Beam gave back to the community through giving to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.

Beam especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren, but also enjoyed bowling and playing poker.

Calling hours for Beam will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Kinnick Funeral Home in Austintown.
