Saturday’s patrons at Sharon Speedway have won a free oil change thanks to Ryan Blaney’s win on Sunday at the NASCAR Monster Energy Pocono 500.

The “Win With Ryan Blaney Challenge” prize requires patrons to take their ticket and promotion certificate to a participating Youngstown Metro Ford dealership or Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center to redeem the “The Works” vehicle service package.

Jackson-Milton sets HOF induction

The 2017 Jackson-Milton Hall of Fame will honor new members on Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. before the football opener.

Inductees are Kelly (Snowden) Abe (1992), Alyssa Chine (2009), Melanie (Hash) Hullett (1990), Christina Moss (1996) and Charles Ripley (1989). They will be joined by the 1989 Jackson-Milton state runner- up volleyball team.

Vienna’s Koehler finishes fifth

AKRON

Emily Koehler of Vienna shot an 80 to finish fifth in the NOPGA Junior Tour event on Monday at Portage Country Club for girls ages 16-19.

Boardman’s Hadley Spielvogel was 11th with an 88.

In the boys 13-15 category. Canfield’s Andrew Wyss was second with a 75, two strokes behind Pepper Pike’s Tomas Wong.

Poland 12U team wins Akron tourney

Poland Dogs won the Big 8 Community Challenge in Akron by defeating Portage Lakes Mudcats, 17-0, in the championship game at Patterson Park.

The Dogs won four games in the 11-team tournament. Their wins were against teams from Richfield/Bath Township, Plain City/Dublin and Brunswick.

Team members are George Marantis, Jacob Allsopp, Teagan McCurdy, Ryan DiLullo, Connor Hudran, Alex Skarote, Ashton Noel, Evan Hegarty, Luke Generalovich, Alec DelSignore, JP Genova and Bryce Barringer.

The manager is Jim McCurdy. His coaches are Cole Fulton, Todd Hudran and Dan Frum.

Pittsburgh parade is Wednesday for Pens

PITTSBURGH

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ Stanley Cup championship victory parade will be held Wednesday morning.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and follow a similar route to parades following the 2009 and 2016 championships, along Grant Street and Boulevard of the Allies.

But this year’s parade will continue into Point State Park, where the players, coaches and other dignitaries will take the stage to deliver remarks.

The parade after last year’s championship drew about 400,000 fans, the biggest celebration for any of the team’s five Stanley Cup championships.

Univision gets most viewers for soccer

NEW YORK

The 1-1 draw between the United States and Mexico on Sunday night drew the most viewers in the U.S. for any soccer match this year.

Univision attracted an average of 4.5 million viewers for the World Cup qualifier from Mexico City.

The Spanish-language network beat FS1’s viewership by 96 percent. It also had a larger Hispanic audience than the first four NBA Finals games.

Additionally, it was the top World Cup qualifying match in any language on any network in more than four years, since March 26, 2013.

Across local markets, Univision was the No.1 broadcast station during the time period among total viewers in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and Phoenix.
