Woman stabbed on Matta Avenue on the West Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A woman in the first block of Matta Avenue on the West Side was treated about 12:10 p.m. today for a stab wound.

Police and paramedics responded to the home, where the woman was treated but was not transported to the hospital.

Officers are looking for a car that is supposed to belong to the suspect, who reports said drove away after the woman was stabbed.
