“So You Think You Can Dance” (8 p.m., Fox): It’s time to bust out some fresh moves as “So You Think You Can Dance” returns for its 14th season. Joining the judges’ panel this summer is Vanessa Hudgens (“High School Musical”; “Grease Live”).
“The Putin Interviews” (9 p.m., Showtime): Oh, this should be interesting: “The Putin Interviews” is a four-night “TV event” that features supposedly candid conversations between Russian president Vladimir Putin and filmmaker Oliver Stone. Strawberry fest at White House
CANFIELD
White House Fruit Farm’s annual Strawberry Festival will take place Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. on the farm’s grounds, 9249 Youngstown-Salem Road (state Route 62, just south near the intersection of Western Reserve Road). In addition to live music, there will be baskets of fresh-picked strawberries, various foods and strawberry treats, including shortcake, slushes and ice cream. Guests can pick their own strawberries Saturday from 8 to 5 p.m. For information, go to WhiteHouseFruitFarm.
Themed train ride
PENINSULA
The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) will host a decade-themed train ride Friday, departing at 7:30 p.m. out of Rockside station, 7900 Old Rockside Road.
Each train car will pay tribute to a different decade with themed music, d cor and activities. Purchase tickets ($45 per person at cvsr.com) for your favorite decade car and move throughout the train and explore each car during the trip.
Tickets include a train ride, boxed dinner, music, activities and a cash bar. Passengers dressed in costumes inspired by a decade can snap a photo on the train and post to social media to enter a contest to win prizes, including tickets to other upcoming train events. This program is recommended for passengers age 14 and over.
