Lexi Thompson shot a 67 for a 17-under 199 total and a one-stroke lead after the third round of the Manulife LPGA Classic on Saturday. Fellow American Lindy Duncan was in second after a 67, followed by South Korea’s In Gee Chun (68) another shot back. Canada’s Alena Sharp (70), who was in a three-way for the lead with Thompson and South Korea’s Hyo Joo Kim, fell into a tie for fourth with world No. 2 Ariya Jutanugarn (65) of Thailand. First-round leader Suzann Petterson had a 68 and was in a three-way tie at 203. Canada’s Brittany Marchand, a Symetra Tour player who made the cut at an LPGA Tour event for the first time, was five shots off the lead after a 67.

Dylan Frittelli shot a 5-under-par 67 on Sunday to win the Lyoness Open for his first European Tour title. Frittelli, of South Africa, finished 12-under for the event, leading Finland’s Mikko Korhonen, England’s David Horsey and countryman Jbe Kruger by one stroke. Grouped with Chile’s Felipe Aguilar, the overnight leader, Frittelli birdied six holes and finished with just one bogey when he carded a 4 on the par-3 14th hole. Aguilar, who held a two-stroke lead through the first three rounds, hit a 3-over 75 and finished 10th.

Brandt Jobe won the PGA Tour Champions event Sunday by one shot, finishing at 14-under 202 for his first victory in 19 years.
Jobe shot a 69 in the final round to snap a winless drought that had stretched back to 1998, when he took first in a tournament in Japan. Scott McCarron, who won in Iowa in 2016, was second at 13 under after shooting a final round 66. Kevin Sutherland holed out for an eagle on No. 18 to join McCarron at 203.Money leader Bernhard Langer finished at 12 under, while Scott Verplank, Tom Lehman and Steve Flesch were another shot back. Marco Dawson and Stephen Ames finished at 207.

SOUTH BEND, IND.
Kendall Dye rallied to win the Four Winds Invitational on Sunday for her second Symetra Tour title, closing with a bogey-free 8-under 64 for a three-stroke victory. Six shots behind Elizabeth Szokol entering the day, Dye had six birdies in a nine-hole stretch — the last four in a row on Nos. 8-11. She also birdied the final two holes in windy conditions at Blackthorn, holing a 25-foot putt on 17 and a 30-footer on 18 to reach 11-under 205.
