Flag-retirement ceremony at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — The local American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts will have a flag-retirement ceremony 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Korean War Memorial, 4125 Mahoning Ave.

Area residents interested in properly disposing of their flags can take them to the memorial, where veterans in the American Legion and VFW will oversee their burning.
