YWCA Summer programs

PAINT AND TASTE
When: 5:15 p.m. June 29
What: Artist Susan James will give a painting class for adults. Art supplies and refreshments are included.
Cost: $35; $30 for YWCA Women’s Art Committee members.
GIRLS USING TOOLS SUCCESSFULLY
When: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., June 26 through 29
What: Girls will learn framing, siding, roofing, painting, pre-fabrication, blueprint reading, and will be in charge of building a complete shed to be used at a Habitat for Humanity home. Girls will travel to a Habitat build site June 29 to help build the house.
Cost: $150
YOUNG ARTISTS
When: 9 to 11:30 a.m., June 17 through 21
What: Boys and girls in grades three through eight will learn drawing, watercolor painting, block printing and how to make a pinhole camera. Lunch is included for those also participating in the afternoon Stop! Hip Hop! camp.
Cost: $50
STOP! HIP HOP!
When: 12:30 to 2 p.m., July 17 through 21
What: Boys and girls in grades three through eight will learn basic hip-hop moves. Lunch is included for those also participating in the morning Young Artists camp.
Cost: $30
RASPBERRY PI
When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Aug. 7 through 11
What: Boys and girls in grades seven through nine will learn coding and will create their own Raspberry Pi computer application.
Cost: $200
