Career highlights: As a player, Stoops was a four-year starter at defensive back at Iowa and was an All-Big Ten selection.

As a head coach, Stoops lead the Sooners to a 190-48 record during his tenure, including the 2000 national championship.

Stoops won 10 Big 12 titles (2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016).

Was named the Walter Camp Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2003 and Associated Press Coach of the Year in 2000.
