FOOD SALES AND DINNERS


TODAY

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road (U.S. Route 224), Poland, will offer a takeout only cavatelli dinner from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes cavatelli with homemade sauce, two meatballs, tossed salad, bread and butter and dessert for $9. Smaller portions of cavatelli and one meatball will be available for $5. Homemade pasta fagioli will be $6 per quart, and homemade pasta sauce, $5 per quart. Place your order, remain in your car and your dinner will be delivered to you.

THURSDAY

VFW Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve a spaghetti dinner sponsored by the Auxiliary from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. The menu consists of spaghetti and meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will feature baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005. SATURDAY

First Congregational Church of Wayne Ladies Missionary Society will host a Father’s Day breakfast June 17 from 8 to 11 a.m. or until sold out at the Wayne Town Hall, state routes 322 an 193, Wayne Township. The menu will include scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, sausage gravy and biscuits, potatoes, beverages and more. Donations only with proceeds to benefit missions.

St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Rd., Vienna, will offer its next Second Saturday Supper on Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hungarian dinner with chicken paprikash, dumplings, cucumber dill salad, pagach (flat) bread, homemade strawberry torte and beverage. Takeout is available. Meals are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will serve a pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Donations will be accepted, proceeds will benefit world service projects.

TUESDAY

First United Methodist Church of Columbiana, 210 S. Main St., is hosting a drive-through ham dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The cost is $7 and includes sliced ham, redskin parsley potatoes, green beans, applesauce and a brownie. For information call the church at 330-482-2382. TAKING ORDERS

Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., has a few frozen ham loaves for sale. They are six for $15. Please purchase anytime during office hours, Monday through Thursday, 10am-3pm. There is no scheduled ham loaf sale for the remainder of 2017.
