Astro Falcons 3, SBA Aces 0
The Astro Falcons needed only the arm of Devin Dunn, and the bat of Carter Chinn, in defeating the SBA Aces 3-0. Dunn was spectacular, tossing a one hit complete game shutout, striking out nine and walking four during the course of it. Nick Benson was the tough luck loser for SBA, giving up two runs on three hits in just 3 2/3 innings of work. Chinn was all of the offense Astro needed, belting a solo homerun to right field, as well as hitting a double in the game. Nick Zona hit an RBI single for Astro in the win. Dakota Bingham broke up the no hit bid with an infield single in the top of the seventh for SBA.
DuraEdge 8, Avalanche 3
Jake Clark picked up the win for DuraEdge with five innings pitched, allowing three unearned runs on just two hits, while striking out six and walking only one. Rylee Wallace took the loss for Avalanche, yielding five runs on ten hits in just over three innings of work. Braeden O’Shaughnessy helped lead a balanched DuraEdge offense with two hits, including a triple, a run scored and an RBI. Adam Walker had two hits, two RBI and a run scored while Matt Senchak had two hits, a run and an RBI as well in the game. Kyle Shingledecker and Trey Adams each slugged two hits and scored a run in the win for DuraEdge. Aaron Williams hit an RBI single in the game for Avalanche. Joe Proper added a hit and also scored a run in the game.
Baird Brothers 10, Creekside Fitness 1
Baird Brothers cruised to a 10-1 victory over Creekside Fitness. Ryan Weaver picked up the win in relief for Baird. Dan Klase took the loss for Creekside, allowing five runs in just one inning of work. Jeff Wehler had himself a day with three hits, one of which being a double, two runs scored and five RBI on the game. Cristian Tejada had three hits and scored three times while Reagan Lawlor had two hits and scored a run of his own in the game. Dom Bucko had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored while Coleman Stauffer hit a two-run single in the win. Kyle Pruitt slugged two hits and scored the only run of the game for Creekside.

Creekside Fitness 10, SBA Aces 0
Creekside Fitness efficiently dispatched of the SBA Aces 10-0 Saturday afternoon in Class B action. Brennan Olesh dazzled with a one-hit shutout for Creekside in the win, striking out six and not allowing a single battter to walk. Kyle Campbell took the loss for SBA, allowing five runs in just over two innings of work. Jim Fitzgerald banged out three hits for Creekside, two of which were doubles, while scoring two runs and driving in another. Garrett Mihalick had three hits, a run and four RBI in the game while David Toot added two hits, two runs and an RBI in the game. Colby Anderson had two hits and touched home twice in the game for Creekside. Sam Wells had the lone hit of the game for SBA.
Avalanche 7, Rudzik Excavating 3
The Avalanche pushed six across home plate in the bottom of the second inning. Joe Roderick pitched Avalanche to victory, allowing three runs while scattering nine hits in 51/3 innings of work, while striking out one and walking three in the game. Marcus Nenichka took the loss for Rudzik in a complete game outing, yielding seven runs (six earned) on nine hits as well, while striking out one and walking only two. Kevin Hawn had two hits and scored twice in the game for Avalanche. Tyler Mattocks hit a two-run double while Steve Mistovich hit an RBI double and scored a run in the game. Noah Fuchs and Alex Hernandez each had a hit, an RBI and a run scored in the game. Garret Barto had two hits for Rudzik, one of which being a two-run double. Hayden Kristophel hit an RBI double and scored a run in the game.
Knightline 14, Roby Lee’s 1
Anthony Cinicola picked up the win for Knightline, allowing just the one run on four hits in six strong innings of work, while striking out five and not walking a single batter. Anthony Tedrow took the loss for Roby Lee’s, surrendering six runs on eight hits in five innings. Kole Klasic led all hitters in the game with four hits, including a double, three RBI and a run scored. Zach Campbell had three hits, two runs and two RBI while Jared Wilson had two hits, three runs scored and an RBI in the win. Joey Kozlina and Colton Stoneman each slugged two hits, scored twice and drove in a run in the game for Knightline. Justin Ciccone had a hit and scored a run for Roby Lee’s in the game.

Dom Velasquez picked up the win for DuraEdge, allowing just two runs on five hits in just over four innings of work, while striking out four and walking three. Nick Bianco took the loss for Roth, surrendering all six runs in four 2/3 innings of six hits, while striking out four and walking two. Matt Senchak slugged two hits for DuraEdge, including a double, while scoring twice and driving in a run in the game. Velasquez helped his own cause with two hits, a run and an RBI while Jarrett Lyon banged out a pair of doubles and drove in two runs in the game. Darren Mitchell touched home twice in the win for DuraEdge. Nick DeSalvo had two hits and the only RBI of the game for Roth. Robby Russo contributed a hit and scored a run in the game.

In a clash of Class B elites, the Astro Falcons proved to be one run better. Wyatt Larimer outdueled Connor Ollio to pick up the win for Astro. Larimer scattered four hits in the shutout, striking out seven while walking only two. Ollio, the tough luck loser, yielded just the one run on six hits, while striking out ten and walking only two as well. Jack Anderson hit an RBI single, driving in Marco DeFalco for the lone run of the game. Reagan Lawlor had two hits in the game for Baird.

Roth Brothers 7, Rudzik Excavating 2
Roth Brothers scored three times in the top of the third inning and never looked back. Jackson Iceman pitched four strong innings in the win, yielding just one run on three hits, while striking out and walking just one batter each. Devin Higginbottham got saddled with the loss for Rudzik, giving up five runs on four hits in just three innings on the mound. Dustin Bourne pitched the final three innings of the game for Roth to earn the save. Tristain Taught led all hitters in the game with three hits, including a double, three RBI and two runs scored for Roth. M.J. Farber had a hit and touched home three times while Matt Ray banged out an RBI double in the game. Christian Myers had a hit and scored a run in the game for Rudzik.

Rudzik Excavating used a pair of three run innings to propel themselves to their first win of the season. Devin Higginbottham got the honor to pitch for Rudzik’s first win and pitched a complete game while doing so, yielding just two unearned runs on five hits, while striking out six and walking only one. Nick Habeth suffered the loss for SBA, surrendering seven runs on seven hits in five innings of work. Christian Myers helped lead Rudzik to victory with two hits, two runs scored and an RBI. Casey Bokesch had two hits and drove in two runs while Caleb Quinn hit an RBI double and scored twice. Alex Barth slugged a double and scored a run in the Rudzik victory. Mikael Torres banged out a two-run triple for SBA. Alex Hernandez added a hit and managed to touch home in the game.

Matt Hooper tossed a complete game in the win, allowing the four runs on seven hits, while striking out and walking two batters each. Tyler Peterson surrendered five run in just two innings of work in the loss for Creekside. Hayden Savage helped lead the Knightline attack with three hits, two of which were doubles, three runs scored and two RBI. Shane Yaskulka slugged a double among his three hits, scored a run and drove in two more while Colton Stoneman had three hits, two runs and two RBI of his own. Aiden Warga had two hits, three RBI and a run scored while Lorenzo Russo contributed two hits and two runs scored to the winning effort. James Palumbo had two hits and scored twice in the game for Creekside. Kyle Weitzel had a hit, a run, and an RBI in the game.

Joe Williams picked up the win for Landsharks, allowing five runs (three earned) on just two hits in four innings, while striking out two and walking only one. Joel Kreuzwieser took the loss for Rudzik, surrendering eight runs in four innings of work. Harrison Pontoli helped lead the Landsharks assault with three hits, including a double, four runs scored and an RBI in the game. The two teams combined for 33 runs and 27 hits. D.J. Skarote picked up the win in relief for Roth, while Alex Barth took the loss for Rudzik in relief as well. Matt Ray had three hits, three RBI and a run scored in the game for Roth. Pat Donofrio had two hits, two runs and two RBI while Connor Elliot had two hits and two RBI of his own while also touching home once in the game. Bobby Cavalier had two hits of his own, including a double, three RBI and a run scored while Carmen Cavalier contributed a hit, an RBI and four runs scored to the winning cause.
