Fitch band invited to march in DC parade

AUSTINTOWN – The Austintown Fitch High School Marching Band was invited to perform in the 2018 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington, D.C., next year.

About 1.2 million people attend the parade, which is scheduled for April 14, and it is broadcast on national television.

In recent years, the band has marched in the NATO Festival of Nations parade, the Pegasus parade for the Kentucky Derby and the Festival of Character Parade at Walt Disney World.
