Second Annual Golf Scramble to benefit foster children
YOUNGSTOWN
The Foster Parent Association of Mahoning County will host its Second Annual Golf Scramble on Saturday at Parto’s Golf Course, 2231 Coitsville-Hubbard Rd, (Route 616).
The scramble will begin at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start. Cost is $100 per team. The day will also feature a basket raffle and a 50-inch TV. All monies raised will benefit foster children in Mahoning County.
These funds are utilized to provide fun activities for the children such as bowling, pool and Christmas parties. FPA also supplies Mahoning County Children Services with items needed for children when they come into care, including suitcases so they are not carrying their personal belongings in a shopping or trash bag.
The Association is in need of hole sponsors, teams to play and gift baskets for the chinese auction.
If you think that you may be able to help out in anyway, please contact Tom Parteleno, Parto’s Golf @ 239-404-1117 or Tammy Parteleno, FPA @ 239-682-2534.
