Group addresses divorce

AUSTINTOWN

St. Joseph’s Austintown, 4545 New Road, will host DivorceCare, a 12-week course/discussion group for those who are going through or have recently gone through a separation or divorce.

The group addresses, through education and discussion, the most common issues associated with divorce/separation and promotes powerful healing.

Classes begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Youngstown ‘Mass Mobs’ set

YOUNGSTOWN

“Mass Mobs” will be taking place to highlight the local parish communities and build unity among Catholics in the Mahoning Valley.

The public is invited to join the first Youngstown Mass Mob during the 10:30 a.m. Mass on June 11 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church of Holy Apostles Parish, 421 Covington St.

For more than 100 years, the church has been a strong community of faith with Croatian and Hungarian roots.

LaPaugh to speak

The public is invited to Alliance Christian Center, 670 W. Main St., Tuesday at 10 a.m. for a program featuring Evangelist Pauline LaPaugh. The program cost will be a $3 donation. Please bring snacks and/or finger foods to share.

Murry to lead ordination

YOUNGSTOWN

At 10:30 a.m. June 17, two seminarians will be ordained to the priesthood for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown.

The ordination ceremony will take place at St. Columba Cathedral, 159 W. Rayen Ave.

Bishop George V. Murry of Youngstown will confer the Sacrament of Ordination upon Deacon Zachary Coulter and Deacon Scott Kopp.

The new priests will be assigned as parochial vicars (associate pastors) to parishes in the Diocese of Youngstown and will begin their assignments soon after priesthood ordination. All are invited to attend.

Adam Crabb in concert

The NEO Church of God will host Adam Crabb in concert at 6 p.m. June 25 at the NEO Retreat Center, 16278 Shilling Road.
