HUBBARD
May 26
Menacing: A Wrenfield Drive woman said a 20-year-old Hermitage, Pa., man’s girlfriend had sent her a threatening text message.
May 27
Theft: A woman noticed five cans of energy drinks missing from a package that had been delivered to her Orchard Avenue home.
May 30
Harassment: A Fox Street woman said a neighbor yelled obscenities at her in the latest example of a three-year pattern of harassment.
LIBERTY
May 25
Arrest: Police at the Mahoning County jail picked up C’Quan C. Cross, 21, of Fairmont Avenue, Youngstown. He was wanted on a Girard Municipal Court warrant.
Assault: A Cushing, Okla., man alleged his roommate and co-worker, of Gladewater, Texas, twice punched his head during an argument between them at a Motor Inn Drive motel. The Texas man alleged having been grabbed and knocked to the ground.
Theft: A Youngstown woman discovered her wallet missing while at a Belmont Avenue bank’s automated-teller machine.
Theft: A Logan Gate Road man reported a set of 12 keys missing.
Arrest: An officer on routine patrol responded to a disabled vehicle near Logan Way before charging Cierra L. Jackson, 26, of Brownlee Avenue, Youngstown, with operating a vehicle impaired. Jackson had a 0.304 blood-alcohol content, which is nearly four times Ohio’s legal intoxication limit, a report showed.
May 26
Arrest: Authorities responded to a domestic situation in the 800 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road, where they took Tawann M. Tutwiler, 30, into custody. Tutwiler, of Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Liberty, was wanted on a felony warrant from Mahoning County charging him with being a fugitive from justice.
May 27
Theft/harassment: A Logan Way man reported a $500 cellphone stolen and that he’s received threats of drive-by shootings against his family.
Drugs: After pulling him over in the 4200 block of Belmont Avenue, police charged Jonette D. McCall, 29, of McGuffey Road, Youngstown, with drug abuse, operating a vehicle impaired and possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia after alleging McCall had a device commonly used to grind marijuana, papers for rolling marijuana, eight Tramadol tablets in a folded paper towel and a bag of suspected cocaine. McCall also had a 0.131 blood-alcohol content, a report stated.
Theft: A Church Hill-Hubbard Road man reported a $500 iPhone stolen while he was at a township business.
May 29
Theft: A Gypsy Lane man discovered an in-dash stereo and camera had been removed from his car.
Threat: A Lucretia Drive woman said a former friend had left a message on Facebook threatening to enter the accuser’s home to retrieve property that belongs to a third party.
May 30
Arrest: Police took custody of Chavontea L. Sherman, 25, of John Street, Youngstown, who was wanted on a Girard Municipal Court warrant accusing her of failing to appear in court.
Theft: A Park Street woman alleged a Sharon, Pa., man, 44, stole her daughter’s $150 electronic tablet and refuses to return it.
May 31
Arrest: Boardman police relinquished custody of Raylen W. Wallace, 31, to township authorities. Wallace, of Mathews Road, Boardman, was wanted on a Girard Municipal Court warrant.
GIRARD
May 28
Recovered property: An officer reported having found a change purse at Girard High School on Shannon Road.
May 29
Arrest: Weathersfield Township police handed to Girard authorities Christopher D. Clark, 27, of Howland-Wilson Road, Warren, who was wanted on a city warrant charging failure to appear in court.
Trespassing: Officers received a complaint that a woman who had recently been evicted from a North Avenue apartment was on the property. She was asked to leave until it could be determined whether she was on a criminal-trespassing list, a report said.
Felonious assault: A man and a woman alleged a man had forced his way into their Trumbull Avenue residence, then punched the man several times in the face and shoved the woman into a kitchen table during an ongoing feud regarding $20 owed to the attacker. The male victim suffered two broken teeth.
May 30
Domestic violence: Ivy L. Reitz, 30, of East Second Street, Girard, was charged with the crime after her boyfriend alleged Reitz had struck his face during a confrontation.
Menacing: A Washington Avenue woman reported her son’s former girlfriend has engaged in a series of actions that caused the accuser to be concerned for her welfare and that of her grandchildren.
Drugs: While responding to a possible drug overdose, police charged Priscilla D. Scott, 32, of Joan Avenue, Girard, with possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia after alleging they found nine used needles, five suspected crack-cocaine pipes, cleaning material for syringes and a spoon with burn marks common in drug use.
Scam: A Lawrence Avenue woman brought to police a $2,350 check she received from a financial institution with instructions that claimed she had won a sweepstakes drawing. Beforehand, the woman had received multiple calls about the check, leading her to believe it was a scam.
Theft: A man reportedly stole from a West Liberty Street business three sleeves that hold compact discs.
May 31
Menacing: A woman told officers a man made a series of angry statements to her at a North Highland Avenue convenience store, which caused her to feel threatened.
Menacing: A North Avenue woman alleged a neighbor with whom she’s had ongoing issues dumped a bucket of water on her head.
