CLASSES

Campbell Memorial January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant in Boardman. All classmates and their spouses are welcome.

Campbell Memorial January and June Classes of 1950 will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at Bedford Trails Golf Course in Coitsville.

The South High Class of 1963 will meet for its monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. June 14 at Bob Evans Restaurant in Boardman.

CLUBS

Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.

Warren Women’s Connection, an affiliate of Stonecroft Ministries, invites all women to attend its June 12 luncheon at Delucia’s Banquet Center, 2610 Elm Rd. NE, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Stephanie Sferra, from the Trumbull County Travel Bureau, will speak on “Taking a Trumbull Trip.” Frankie Szamatowica will give an inspirational talk, “The Call That Counts.” Luncheons are held the second Monday of each month at a cost of $13. SOCIETIES

Girard Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Barnhisel House, 1011 N. State St.

McDonald Historical Society will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday in the community room at Woodland Park Senior Center, 550 Ohio Ave.

The Poland Historical Society will host a Treasures in a Trunk Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 10 at Poland Seminary High School, 3199 Dobbins Rd. Also, from 1 to 3 p.m. June 11, the Historical Society will host an open house at the Little Red Schoolhouse, 4515 Center Rd.

Salem Historical Society offers the First Underground Railroad Trolley tour of the season on Saturday at noon. Reservations are required and can be made at 330-337-6733, or trolley239@aol.com. “Sunday Go To Meeting” will be a featured exhibit Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Museum, 208 South Broadway. Struthers Historical Society will meet Sunday at 1 p.m. at 50 Terrace St., next to city hall for a presentation from Civil War re-enactor Ron Johnson from The Sons of the Confederacy. All are welcome.

Trumbull County Historical Society will host a talk about Neil Armstrong at 2 p.m. Sunday. Dan Mathey will present the free, family-friendly program as part of the Summer Sundays on Monroe Street series, featuring Warren’s oldest homes and historic museums. Light refreshments will be provided, and tours of the John Stark Edwards House and Trumbull County Museum will be available from 3 to 5 p.m. Free tours also are available from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
