SMARTS wins first annual Digital Boost contest

A digital advertising agency based in Boardman, iSynergy, has announced that SMARTS (Students Motivated by the Arts) has won the first annual Digital Boost contest. Digital Boost was open to any nonprofit organization headquartered in Columbiana, Mahoning or Trumbull counties in Ohio and Beaver, Lawrence or Mercer counties in Pennsylvania, and the winner was chosen by popular vote from social media.

SMARTS was one of three finalist organizations for the contest, which also included The Cornerstone, of Beaver Falls, Pa., and Potential Development of Youngstown. As the winner, SMARTS will receive up to $50,000 worth of website design and development, logo design, print collateral design, content writing, content editing, search engine optimization and website hosting for one calendar year.

SMARTS is a community art school located in the Ohio One Building. It gives kindergarten through 12th-grade youths access to the arts.
