SENIOR CITIZENS

Freetimers Monthly Breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s on Route 62 in Cornersburg. All Youngstown State University retirees are invited to come, eat and socialize.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet for their annual summer picnic at noon Friday at Lowellville City Hall conference room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside. Picnic lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi of Gianna’s Catering. For reservations, call Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176. This is an “invite a guest” meeting. New members are welcome. PERI, Mahoning County Chapter 18 will meet at noon Tuesday at Avion Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Boardman. Guest speaker will be Debbie Liptak, director of development for Youngstown Public Libraries. Menu includes stuffed pork chops, roasted red potatoes, grilled vegetables, salad, bread and butter, spumoni for dessert and coffee, tea and soft drinks. Cost is $13 for members, associate members and guests and are payable at the door. Deadline for reservations and cancellations was July 24.

PERI, Trumbull County Chapter 56 will meet at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 9 at DiLucia’s Restaurant, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. There will be no speaker because of summer picnic.
