CANFIELD

July 7

Shoplifting: Police arrested Joseph Myers, 45, of Red Tail Hawk Court, Boardman, on a charge of theft. Police accuse him of taking merchandise from Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.

July 11

Drug abuse: Police arrested Tramain Terrell,19, of Megan Circle, Youngstown, on a charge of drug abuse on Herbert Road.

July 10

Warrant: Police arrested Cordale McDowell, 29, of Shields Road, Boardman, on a felony warrant out of Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office.

July 15

Drug abuse: Police arrested Brandon Lamb, 20, of Newton Falls Road, Diamond, on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Morgan Coleman,18, of Tarrytown Road, Austintown, on a drug-abuse charge.

July 9

Warrant: Police arrested Jawaylan Tarail Patterson-Daniells, 24, of Youngstown-Canfield Road on a warrant for theft of an LG GPad.

Felonious assault: Police arrested Bryan Calai, 35, of Lyntz Towline Road, Warren, on two counts of felonious assault.

July 10

Aggravated menacing: An ex-boyfriend threatened a woman at a home in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Criminal damaging: Damage to a mailbox was reported at a home in the 5000 block of Winthrop Drive.

Criminal damaging: Damage to a window from BB pellets was reported at Red Diamond Uniforms, 4437 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Joshua Ehret, 33, of White Beech Lane, on a warrant for violation of a protection order.

Identity theft: Fraudulent accounts were opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 6000 block of Fox Crossing Court.

Identity theft: Numerous fraudulent purchases were reported at a home in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Court.

Auto theft: A 2000 Chrysler Voyager was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A $500 Facebook scam was perpetrated against a homeowner in the 90 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Menacing: Phone threats were reported at a home in the 7000 block of Backwater Cove.

July 11

Warrant: Police arrested Jennifer Hartzell, 45, of Wood Street, Niles, on a warrant for contempt of court for failure to appear on a child support case on a Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office warrant. She was jailed in Trumbull County.

Warrant: Police arrested Naziyah Folmar, 19, of Robbins Avenue, Niles, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Theft: Police arrested Mackenzie Arnold, 18, of Parkman Road, Warren, on a theft charge. Police accuse Arnold of theft of $157.53 in merchandise from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

July 12

Warrant: Police arrested Derrick Franklin, 22, of Compass West on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Fraud: A scam to clean a computer resulted in the homeowner being out $3,400 at a home in the 500 block of Purdue Avenue.

Warrant: Police arrested Matthew Earl, 31, of Lisbon Road, Lisbon, on a warrant on charges of importuning and possession of criminal tools. In an undercover sting by police; he solicited sex from an officer posing as a young girl.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made over a debt at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Animal complaint: A 6-year-old was bitten by a chihuahua at an apartment in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of South Saratoga Avenue.

Domestic violence: Police arrested Michael Lalli, 43, of West Saratoga Avenue, on a domestic-violence charge.

July 13

Theft: Theft of a 40-inch television was reported at Walmart.

Theft: Unauthorized withdrawals were made from an account at a home in the 3000 block of Cannon Road.

Aggravated menacing: Threats to dismember a victim were reported at a home in the 500 block of Idaho Road.

July 14

Theft: Police arrested Charles Cialella, 26, of Delaware Avenue, Poland, and issued him a summons after authorities said he took a black Quench Bar T-shirt.

Theft: A wallet was taken from an auto parked at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave., and unauthorized charges on credit cards in the wallet were made.

Fraud: A credit-card skimmer was located on a gas pump at Pilot Travel Center,1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A green gas pump with a white globe was stolen from a home in the 900 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: A television was taken by a male suspect from Walmart.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Myles Paige, 26, of Ridge Avenue, on a charge of possession of marijuana and a traffic citation.

July 15

Criminal damaging: A garage door and tires were damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Washington Square.

Warrants: Police arrested Daniel Riggs, 38, of South Bailey Road, North Jackson, on two warrants involving a theft from Sun Merchant, 3605 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Anna Tych, 36, of Arlington Avenue, McDonald, on a Niles warrant for theft and probation violation.

July 16

Criminal damaging: A window was broken out of Sears Service Center, 5760 Interstate Blvd.

Warrant: Police arrested Timothy Bowers, 50, of Miami Street, Youngstown, on a liquor violation and a Youngstown police warrant.

Warrant: Police arrested Eric Whetstone, 34, of North Park Avenue, Cortland, on a warrant for failure to appear on an amended warrant for assault.

Warrant: Police arrested Brittany Reber, 24, of Tyrell Street, Youngstown, on a warrant for theft of a $49.51 gift card and $118.52 in merchandise from Walmart.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Sean Allen, 22, of North Maryland Avenue, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was egged at a home in the 6000 block of Ridgeview Avenue.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Christopher Carvin, 51, of Valley Avenue, Warren, and Yolanda Carvin, 46, also of Valley Avenue, on charges of theft from Walmart.

Arrest: Police arrested Xhyaire Smith,18, and Xhane Smith, 19, both of Fountain Square Boulevard, on charges of domestic violence.
