Ikebana Youngstown will meet for the club picnic. Hostess, place and time will be announced. There will be no September meeting. Meetings will resume Oct. 3.

THURSDAY

Sweetbriar Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. for its annual picnic. Hostess will be Sandy Mitchell.

UPCOMING

Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown will host its 53rd Annual Horticultural Show at Fellows Riverside Gardens Aug. 26 and Aug. 27. Awards for heaviest tomato and largest zinnia will be given. Best of section ribbons will also be awarded in areas such as vegetables, annuals, perennials and more. Entries will be received from 7 to 10:30 a.m., Aug. 26.
