Geo C and tha Storm in YWCA benefit

Geo C and tha Storm will perform a benefit concert for the YWCA of Youngstown on Aug. 25 at the association’s building at 25 W. Rayen Ave.

A happy hour at 6 p.m. will precede the show by the Youngstown-based funk band. Geo C and tha Storm will play from 7 to 10 p.m. A basket raffle and 50/50 drawing will be part of the event.

Tickets are $10 in advance ($13 at the door) and are available at the YWCA and Geo’s Music Store on West Boardman Street, and online at ywca.org/Youngstown.

Babysitting for children age 1 to 12 is available at a rate of $5 per hour.

Proceeds from the event benefit YWCA’s housing, youth development and empowerment programs.
