BEES IN YOUR BACKYARD

When: Aug. 5, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

What: Author and biologist Olivia Carril will review bee biology, practice hands-on bee identification through microscopes and explore plants and bees in field activities.

Where: Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, Canfield.

Details: Olivia has been studying bees for more than 20 years and is the author of “The Bees in Your Backyard, A Field Guide to North America’s Bees.”

Cost: $65 for the day, including lunch. For $15 more, you get Olivia’s book.

Reptile, Amphibian Show
