No body found in burning car despite 911 call

YOUNGSTOWN

Reports said a 911 caller late Tuesday said there was a body inside a burning car on the far East Side but firefighters found no body in the car or surrounding area.

Crews were called about 10:50 p.m. to Liberty Road and Frost Street and found the on fire.

The flames were quickly put out but a search of the car and the surrounding area turned up no body. The car is a total loss, reports said.
