Literary society to host best-selling author

The literary society committee for the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County is planning an upcoming author event featuring Mary Kay Andrews, New York Times best-selling author of novels such as “The Weekenders,” “Beach Town,” “Ladies Night,” “Deep Dish” and more. The event on Aug. 17 will be held at the Main Library, 305 Wick Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m. for cocktails and appetizers. The author’s presentation will begin at 7 p.m. Reservations are required by contacting the Library’s Development Office at 330-740-6086.
