The Fiests celebrate 60 years together

SOUTHINGTON

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fiest of Southington recently celebrated their 60th anniversary in Las Vegas. The occasion was further celebrated at a brunch at Cafe 422 in Niles that was hosted by their children.

Mr. Fiest and the former Iona Mae Gilligan were united in marriage June 22, 1957, at St. Mary Church in Warren.

Their children are Lori (Dale) Hall, David (Lynne) Fiest, Daniel (Laurie) Fiest, Brian (Laurie) Fiest, and Kellie (Sean) Ruane. They also have 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fiest is a graduate of Kent State University and retired from Paige and Byrnes Insurance Co., Warren.

Mr. Fiest is retired from Bohlke Veneer Corp. in Cincinnati.

The couple are members of St. William Church in Champion. They will continue to celebrate this fall on a cruise to Bermuda.
