Shot fired at bicycle rider on East Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a 21-year-old man riding a bicycle about 6:20 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of North Truesdale Avenue on the East Side was not injured after someone in a passing car fired several shots at him.

Reports said officers recovered nine .40-caliber shell casings and a nearby home had five bullet holes in it. No one in the home was injured.
