‘Housewives’ at Powers to read ‘Monologues’

A special performance of “The Vagina Monologues,” featuring stars from three “Real Housewives” TV series will take place Sept. 18 at Powers Auditorium.

Brandi Glanville of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Teresa Giudice of “New Jersey” and Ashley Darby of “Potomac” will perform a reading of the award-winning stage play by Eve Ensler.

The play tells the truth about a woman’s place in the world through funny and revealing monologues that hold nothing back.

Reserved seat tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $25 and $55 (plus applicable fees), and a VIP meet-and-greet package is $100. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday at youngstownsymphony.com, by phone at 330-744-0264 and at the DeYor Performing Arts Center box office, 260 W. Federal St.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Mariska Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation and the Sojourner House Domestic Violence Program of the Mahoning Valley.
