Pastor James Berkebile of the Struthers Rotary Club hosted Chuck Pompeii of the Aut Mori Grotto Clowns as speaker at a recent Rotary meeting. Pompeii discussed the history of the Aut Mori Grotto and listed many groups they support, such as cerebral palsy treatment, Muscular Dystrophy, Intellectual Disability/Down Syndrome, Organ Transplant Surgery and dental assistance for special needs community members. Pompeii, also known as “Loudmouth,” has been active in the clown unit for 30 years. For information about the Humanitarian Foundation, visit www.hfgrotto.org. Above from left are JoAnn Sweeney, Struthers Rotary president; Pompeii; and Pastor Berkebile. A book was donated in Pompeii’s name to be placed in the Struthers Elementary School Library.
