Ohio National Guard continues Youngstown demolition work this week

YOUNGSTOWN — Members of the 1192nd Engineer Co. in Ravenna are taking down vacant houses on Youngstown's South Side today.

The Ohio National Guard unit has been in the city doing the work for a week and will be here until Saturday.

The unit has demolished eight houses so far and when done will take 28 structures.
