Dr. Sethi Manu, an anesthesiologist at Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, has been selected for the 2017 Best of Youngstown Award in the doctor category by the Youngstown Award Program.

The Youngstown Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Youngstown area.

Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.

Atty. William L. Bartos, director of public service for the city of Canton, was recently honored by ystark!, a department of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, and The Canton Repository as one of this year’s Twenty under 40. Nominees were selected based on career acumen, community service and trusteeship, and personal and professional achievements.

Bartos, a graduate of Poland Seminary High School, Mount Union College (now the University of Mount Union) and Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, is the son of Larry and Barbara Bartos of Poland. He lives in Canton with his wife, Atty. Andrea C. Bartos.

Salt Sensations USA LLC has been selected for the 2017 Best of Boardman Award in the Alternative Medicine Practitioner category by the Boardman Award Program.

Salt Sensations, 1449 Boardman-Canfield Road #220, uses salt therapy, which it says is a natural way to help clear sinuses and lungs, rejuvenate the skin, and reduce stress and anxiety.
