James and Deborah Hlebak of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Crea Hlebak, to Adam Scalzo, both of San Francisco.
He is the son of Michael and Melissa Scalzo of Toledo.
The couple will exchange vows Sept. 9 at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended to the wedding and a reception afterward at the Avalon Inn in Warren.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is director of human resources for Eatsa restaurants San Francisco.
The prospective groom is also a graduate of OU. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. He is the sales director for Jiff Inc. in San Francisco.
