Simon Roofing on ‘Office Spaces’

BOARDMAN

Simon Roofing’s unique, all-encompassing supply-chain business model will be featured on an episode of “Office Spaces,” airing at 5 p.m. Sunday on Fox Business.

Simon Roofing is a national commercial roofing manufacturer and installer with 66 service centers across the U.S.

The segment selected for “Office Spaces’” third season was shot at Simon’s Boardman headquarters and Struthers manufacturing facility. The production crew shot footage of Simon Roofing’s in-house product-testing lab, 24/7 call center, manufacturing plant operations and even captured a crew in process of installing a roof restoration.

“We’re excited to showcase our capabilities in front of a national audience, as well as introduce the public to many of our talented local employees who play a large role in the segment,” said Sue Stricklin, senior vice president, marketing at Simon Roofing.

“Office Spaces” is a 30-minute program featuring three to four case study-style segments on innovative companies in the commercial building space.

Banks, tech lead US stocks to modest gains, Dow record

Banks and technology companies led U.S. stocks to modest gains Thursday, pushing the Dow Jones industrial average to its second record close in two days.

Big retail chains and other consumer-focused stocks were among the gainers. Energy companies rose as the price of crude oil increased. Phone companies and utilities lagged the market.
