Northwest Ohio braces for near-record flooding

FINDLAY
Flooding has closed dozens of roads in northwestern Ohio as residents in Findlay are piling up sandbags ahead of what could be near-record flooding.
The National Weather Service predicts the flood levels in Findlay to be among the highest in the city’s history by this morning.
Many city streets already are closed because of high water, and the city’s main downtown route was closed Thursday afternoon by rising waters on the Blanchard River.
The forecast for flooding increased after 3 more inches of rain fell early Thursday.
