Boardman man cited after being found passed out in stranger's car
BOARDMAN
A township man was cited for being intoxicated in public after police found him passed out in a stranger's car.
According to a police report, police were called to Cook Avenue about 5:30 this morning.
The caller told police he had found a man, later identified as Ryan D. Wilson, 29, sleeping in his car. Police woke Wilson, who they observed to have "bloodshot eyes" and "an odor of alcohol" on his breath.
Wilson reportedly told police that he had been drinking at a bar and got a ride home to what he thought was his apartment building, which is also located on Cook Avenue. He "believed he went into his car and fell asleep," according to the report.
Wilson was issued a minor misdemeanor citation.
