UPDATE | Truck hits utility pole, power lines on Rayen Avenue

YOUNGSTOWN — A traffic light pole and a power line are down at the intersection of West Rayen Avenue and Elm Street after a dump truck struck them while heading east toward Wick Avenue.

Police have blocked off the intersection and city engineering employees are on site assessing the situation.

Businesses in the block of Elm Street and Hazel Street along Rayen Avenue have lost power.
