County and state close several roads as construction gets underway

Several roads throughout the area will be closed over the next two weeks as construction projects get underway.

The bridge on Northeast River Road over Interstate 76 in Lake Milton will close from Monday to July 17 for deck repairs.

Calla Road in North Lima will close between Market Street and Woodworth Road from Tuesday to Friday for culvert repairs.

New Castle Road in Lowellville will close between Coit and South Hubbard roads from Wednesday to July 17 for culvert repairs.

South Hubbard Road in Lowellville will close between Villa Marie and Cooper roads from July 17 to July 20 for culvert repairs.

Columbiana Road in New Middletown will close between Pine Lake Road and state Route 170 from July 18 to July 19 for culvert repairs.

Hull Road near Saline-ville in Columbiana County will close for 50 days for a $426,845 Ohio Department of Transportation bridge replacement project over Nancy Run just west of Foundry Hill Road.
